Job Description:
Sigma Cabinets Inc. located at 11539 136 Street, Suite 103, Surrey, BC, V3R 0G3 urgently requires one Permanent & Full Time Cabinetmaker.
Job Duties:
• Study plans, specifications or drawings of the products to be made.
• Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on wood.
• Trim joints and assemble parts together using glue and clamps and secure joints with nails, screws, fasteners etc. to build cabinets in various specified designs.
• Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions as specified.
• Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components.
• Use a variety of woods and laminates to construct and repair wooden cabinets, furniture, fixtures and related products.
• Sand surfaces and finish products with stains, polish or veneer.
• Clean and maintain machinery and tools to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of High School is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of positions: 1
Wage: $36.75 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
