Responsibilities
Tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-based materials
Build custom cabinets, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate joinery techniques
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Sand, stain, paint, and apply finishes or veneers as required
Install cabinets and millwork on site, ensuring proper fit, level, and alignment
Repair or modify existing cabinetry when needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with designers, contractors, and team members to meet project deadlines
