Job Duties:
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
· Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
· Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring, build walls and install partitions using hand and power tools.
· Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
· Co-ordinate with other construction workers in the team.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 2
Wage: $36.75 per hour for 40 hours per week.
