The Adventure Daycare (Cumby) is an incorporated child care provider, governed by a dedicated management team composed of community members and staff. We provide programs, services, resources, and support for children and families of all backgrounds in our care system. Our service area ranges across Cumby and surrounding communities; however, everyone is welcome to participate in Adventure Daycare activities.
We work closely with families and local schools in the area. Although we have our own organization, Adventure Daycare is closely affiliated with the local community and educational services.
Our staff work closely with parents, caregivers, and team members to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the children as well as the community at large. Adventure Daycare is committed to bringing children and community together to learn, create, and grow.
Adventure Daycare (Cumby), located in Cumby, Texas, is looking for Two Full time Permanent Early Childhood Educator (ECE) assistants for their above location.

Part time applicants who can commit to work certain hours in a week and also nights/weekends and Stat holidays may also be considered for this position.
Salary:$ 24 hour
Hours: 32 to 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Experience:1 to less than 7 months.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Before and after school programs
You will be performing following duties:
Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Storytelling
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor.
Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
