CARPET CLEANER:
Aquamist Carpet Care is seeking hard-working and reliable carpet cleaners who will attend to our client’s carpet cleaning needs with punctual service and excellent customer care.
Wage: $26.00/hour; 35 hours /week plus mileage

Job Description:
Operate cleaning machines to clean carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture on customers' premises
Use a set of cleaning chemicals, equipment, techniques, and tools on carpets and floors
Apply stain removers and pre-cleaning treatments to hard- to-clean spots
Move furniture out of the way and reset the room once complete
Thoroughly clean smoke residue from carpets and related contents
Provide post construction cleaning to prepare a house for occupancy
Follow established procedures for cleaning carpets/contents and handling customer’s possessions
Keep job site clean and professional
Complete daily paperwork/timecards accurately and in a timely fashion
Other Skills Required:
Strong customer service skills and professionalism with customers
Able to take direction and follow pre-established guidelines
Able to communicate effectively in English
Able to deal with clients under difficult circumstances
Able to work in constantly changing environments
Bending crouching and kneeling required
Long periods of standing required

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
Carpet and upholstery cleaning experience considered an asset
WorkSafe BC Asbestos Work Training an asset
Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration training is considered an asset
Clean criminal record check
Basic writing and math skills
