Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring, build walls and install partitions using hand and power tools.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
• Supervise other workers.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 2
Wage: $37.00 per hour for 40 hours per week.
