Full-Time In-Home Child Caregiver — Youth Applicants Encouraged
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate full-time, live-out caregiver for our child, who will be approximately one year old. Youth applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, and qualified youth will be prioritized in the hiring process. Applicants must have at least one year of experience caring for infants or toddlers. One parent plans to return to full-time work in October 2026, while the other has a hospital-based surgical practice involving 24-hour emergency call and night and weekend work. The position therefore requires reliable, developmentally appropriate in-home care and reasonable scheduling flexibility.

· Salary: $21.00 per hour, 35 hours per week ( may require up to 40 hours / week)
· Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
· Schedule: Early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and flexible hours; schedule to be determined
· Start date: As early as October 1, 2026

· Private health insurance will be provided until the caregiver becomes eligible for OHIP, along with three paid sick days. Statutory holidays will be provided, or compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate, as applicable, together with 10 paid vacation days per year.

· Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas

· Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens

· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals
