Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the retail store, including the gas station, convenience store, and deli.
- Assign duties, prepare work schedules, and supervise retail sales staff and cashiers.
- Recruit, train, and coach employees while ensuring compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, authorize returns and refunds, and oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Prepare daily sales reports and maintain accurate operational records.
- Monitor inventory levels, order merchandise and supplies, and minimize stock shortages and waste.
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, labelled, and displayed.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries and inventory.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve staff performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate is required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience required
- Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
Wage & Benefits
- Wage: $20.50 per hour
- Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Benefits: 4% vacation pay
