Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work of sales associates and cashiers and monitor their
performance
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding and training of sales associates and cashiers, and address staff
concerns as they arise
- Prepare employee work schedules, assign responsibilities and ensure adequate staffing for each shift
- Compile and maintain monthly reports for the owner on stock levels, sales volumes and staffing
matters
- Manage stock control by organizing inventory counts and ordering convenience-store products and
supplies as needed
- Address customer complaints and product shortages, and authorize refunds, exchanges and price
adjustments in accordance with store policies
- Maintain the store’s presentation standards by ensuring shelves, displays, signage and customer areas
are clean, stocked and presentable
- Perform key-holding and managerial duties as required, including opening and closing the store,
balancing tills at shift changes and signing for deliveries
Education: Secondary High School
Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
