Join the Front Office team at Sparkling Hill Resort! We have a position available for a service-oriented individual for the full-time position of Night Auditor.

· Work location: On site
· Salary: 19.25 to 21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week
· Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

· Must be able to work early morning, Evening, Night, Weekends, and holidays.

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: previous front office experience is preferred but not required.
Computer and technology knowledge: Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required.
License/Certification: First Aid Certification preferred.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Transportation/travel information: Ability to commute/relocate. Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) due to lack of public transportation.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Ensure the current day's revenue balances are reconciled, the payments to the guest ledger are processed.
Prepare daily management reports as required.
Complete system back-ups as required.
Balance and verify the summary of daily transactions in the hotel and ensure that the hotel's computer systems are readied for the next day's business.
Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements.
Verify that all departments have posted all their revenues.
Reconcile the food and beverage point of sale system, for each outlet, to the PMS system; record and adjust entries.
Be the main point of contact for guests during overnight shifts.
Answer internal and external phone calls and messages and be able to book guest reservations.
Assist Reception team members with check ins and check outs, assigning rooms, and processing group arrivals and departures.
Assist with guest requests and needs.
Resolve complaints and claims
Take, cancel and change room reservations
Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and general information about points of interest in the area.
Exchange foreign currency
Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, as applicable.
Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
Follow emergency and safety procedures
Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
Assist clients/guests with special needs
Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
Provide customer service
Other duties as assigned.
