Job Duties:
· Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes.
· Prepare dishes according to established recipes and customer orders.
· Ensure food is prepared and served according to quality standards.
· Maintain proper food portions and presentation.
· Monitor and maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
· Oversee kitchen operations, kitchen staff and assist in hiring and training kitchen workers.
· Assist with ordering food and supplies as required.
· Ensure proper storage and handling of food.
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas.
· Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
· Assist with planning menus and determining food requirements when required.
Job Requirements:
Education: High school completion is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Certification: Food Safety Certificate is required.
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $38.45 per hour for 35-40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
