We are looking for a well-experienced Cook for “Oliver and Bonacini Blue Mountain Ltd.” to work at 220 Gord Canning Dr., Blue Mountain, ON L9Y 0V9, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes and restaurant quality standards.
Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, pasta, pizza, sandwiches and other menu components using appropriate cooking techniques.
Complete daily food preparation and mise en place, including washing, cutting, portioning, seasoning and organizing ingredients for service.
Operate grills, ovens, fryers, stovetops and other commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation and service.
Monitor the quality, freshness, taste and presentation of prepared dishes to ensure consistent food quality before they are served to guests.
Coordinate with chefs and other kitchen staff to prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently during breakfast, lunch, dinner and high-volume service periods.
Accommodate menu modifications and dietary requirements according to restaurant procedures while taking appropriate precautions when handling food allergens.
Monitor food and ingredient supplies, communicate shortages and assist with receiving and properly storing food products and kitchen supplies.
Follow proper food handling, storage, temperature control, sanitation and workplace safety procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Maintain clean and organized cooking stations, equipment, utensils and food preparation areas throughout and after each service period.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school education or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cooking or food preparation.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $19.25 to $23.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Work Location: On site
