As a Cook, you will report directly to the Executive Chef or General Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Preparing food for service, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
- Cleaning dishes and maintaining work areas to ensure a hygienic and organized environment.
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Reading orders (chits) and understanding how to prepare them according to guest preferences.
- Following the Executive Chef's or Sous Chef's instructions and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assisting with monthly inventory reports as part of the end-of-month accounting procedures.
- Performing additional duties as required from time to time. Please note that your duties may be subject to change as needed.
